SENECA YELLOW BIRD (2007 by Dana Borglum),
HERBACEOUS HYBRID peony, is 37 inches high, blooms early midseason
(about 8 days after ‘Claire de Lune’. SINGLE. Single row of lightly
ruffled, pale yellow petals. Flower size 5 to 6 inches, no fragrance.
Stamens, filaments yellow, has pollen, produces seed. Average of 3
carpels with pink stigmas. Three buds per stem. Sturdy upright
growth. Parentage: ‘Dawn Glow’, self pollinated. Price: $50, limited
